Just about every artist that got more than 3 singles out the door has some type of unreleased gem sitting on tape reels of long forgotten labels collecting dust until some intrepid soul rescues that moment in musical time for mass consumption.
Tonight we here what most likely was recorded by Betty Everett in the wake of the success of her version of “You’re No Good” but was cast aside when Vee Jay records scrambled to get her version of “The Shoop Shoop Song” out of the door and to record buyers.
